Greetings, all. I'm the NinjaMonkey, wielder of the famed and feared Bananchucks! I was encouraged to join by my cousin, known here as The Vyper (yes, we actually are related, strange as that may seem :lol: ).

A little bit about me:

Like my cousin, I'm an avid martial arts practitioner. I also enjoy video games (one reason I'm here :P ), skydiving (there's nothing like it), skiing (on water and snow), sport shooting (non-living targets only, live ones are too messy), and a host of other things.

Why I'm here:

I've been playing Oblivion on my Xbox for almost a year. I recently got it for PC (because my Xbox died) and I really want to get into modding. Vyper tells me this is a great place to learn and I'm anxious to start, but it'll have to wait a few days (see below).

What's going on right now:

I'm at a family reunion in Mississippi, but I'll be moving a bit up north when it's over. As luck (or fate) would have it, I'll actually be moving into the condo adjoining Vyper's (we're actually staying in adjoining rooms of the same hotel here - already getting a taste of what's to come :lmao: ). Not sure how long it'll be before I have internet access there, but it shouldn't take too long. Until then, I'll ask Vyper to teach me all he knows.

Well, that's all I've got for an intro. Looking forward to hanging out here.

I know, right? I'll never forget my first jump. I was surprised at how much colder it was at 14,000 ft. Plus, it's a bit harder to breath with the air being so thin up there. But, wow, what a rush! :woot: And to think I used to be afraid of heights...

Welcome! :cookie4u: Glad you decided to join. I'll be glad to teach you whatever I can (thanks for the compliment, Hana :blush: ). I have a wireless router you can connect to (once I give you the password), so you won't have to wait on that. Any idea where you want to start, modding wise?

Wireless router, huh? Thanks, I think I'll take you up on that. As for starting, I think I'll stick with basic things (like making a house, modifying existing weapons, making spells & enchantments, etc.) until I get a good feel for things. After that, I'll look into more advanced stuff like modifying textures and meshes (and making my own, eventually) Man, you weren't kidding about how friendly this place is. Thanks for turning me onto it.

I only did 3500 feet, and once away, I balled up instead of stretching out, so I got to watch my chute open as I fell upside down. Once I untangled myself I was fine. RUSH indeed!! :toast::rofl:

Whoa, I'll bet that was a rush, especially from a low altitude like that! Well, if you ever get the chance to jump from 14,000, take it! :thumbup: Being in free-fall for a full minute is just awesome!
