Arena?

As some of you know, I thoroughly enjoyed the Arena in Oblivion, and I thoroughly enjoyed modding the thing half to death equally. So I'm using this thread as a declaration of intent to start a project- some variety of Arena within Skyrim would be the aim of this project. I haven't decided where it should be placed or how it might be implemented, but I think we can do it. I'm fairly sure I can largely copy/paste the script from my Arena mods for Oblivion, but I'll still need to make the thing- I really don't want to do a Morroblivion style rip and just lift the IC Arena and drop it in Markarth, but I would like to make something similar.

Anyway, now we've got the Creation Kit, I can start doing this.

I noticed in the CK that there is arena architecture. I wonder if this is something Bethesda didn't finish, and maybe something they will add as a DLC. I think the arena is a great idea.

I happen to be making one right now. As are many people apparently.

Currently I'm developing matches you can watch, not participate in, though it will be VERY easy to change that once I get down to it.

I intend to add:

Team Deathmatch

1v1 Deathmatch

& 2 new concepts.

There is a betting system in place.

Much more quality content on the way. If you aren't pleased with my arena, I haven't done my job right.

I also have an arena mod, The Riften Fight Club and the current features are:

- team fights

- survival mode

- 1 vs. 1

- brawls

- betting

Pretty soon I'll be adding quests along with voice acting. There is a thread I made here but It's waiting approval fro,m a member since I'm new here. If you like it please leave a comment and endorse, they make my day and really encourage me to work harder. Also let me know what you think, this is my first mod and I'd like to know what I can improve upon so that I may increase the quality of my mods in the future.
