  1. Unique Landscapes: Skingrad Outskirts

This mod redesigns the surroundings of Skingrad. It adds a small river as well as lots of cliffs and in general, the vegetation gets densified and more detailed. In addition to the landscape improvements, Skingrad Outskirts adds new farms, and also implements ruins of farms, abandoned by their owners for unknown reasons and reconquered by nature.

  2. Unique Landscapes: Silverfish River Valley

This mod overhauls the Silverfish river, including the island of Fort Grief. The surrounding wood becomes thick fir forest full of broken rocks, with hidden paths and lost clearings. The river itself gets spiced up with a gorge-like area and a large waterfall called Stredria Falls. Above the falls, a large ruined memorial sits atop the hill and offers beautiful views of the valley. Existing content gets improved: Fort Arus gets enlarged, Cadlew chapel gains a graveyard and tomb, with far more obvious signs of necromantic activities, and the Imperial Bridge Inn is now easier to find, including a proper stable, a relaxing garden as well as an obvious clifftop path that leads to the end with proper signposting and pathway lanterns. Nenalata's exterior is changed into a much bigger and significant Ayleid ruin with an ancient Ayleid harbour and lighthouse. And finally, there will be additional landmarks like an abandoned ranger camp and the ruins of a very large Imperial fort called Fort Commadrius.

  4. Unique Landscapes: The Great Forest - Lush Woodland

The Lush Woodlands adds many more trees to the Great Forest, east of Chorrol. To match these green trees, the ground is now much more green, consisting of mostly grass and clover. Also, the ground without this mod is very jagged, consisting of many ugly vertices that pop out of the ground, so the ground is made much smoother. The ruin called "Lindai", directly east of Chorrol, now features a very, very detailed graveyard site, containing many tombstones located outside of the exit. There's also added vertex shadows beneath the trees to further give the illusion of a dense forest with a thick tree canopy. This shadow that is added comes with no performance hit, so that's taken advantage of.

So to sum it up, you get:

    -Many more trees.
    -Smoother ground.
    -More grassy and green ground.
    -Shadows beneath all the trees.
-A detailed graveyard site outside Lindai.

  5. Unique Landscapes: Imperial Isle

The majesty that is the Imperial Isle is finally brought to life through this Unique Landscape. City residents no longer have to leave the Isle in order to find naturally gorgeous scenery. Small shrines now dot the Isle, where travelers can rest and take in the view. Even the wildlife look better in this new environment...will make you think twice before slaughtering that venison for your next meal. Also, now that there is more foliage, you no longer think twice about where exactly that bird is that you heard, because it could be in any of the numerous new trees and bushes. The Cyrodiil Travelers' Guild lists the Imperial Isle as "One of the prettiest environments to visit", and also "Very convenient...just step outside the walls of the Imperial City, and you are there."

  6. Unique Landscapes: Fallenleaf Everglade

Fallenleaf Everglade is a breathtaking swamp southeast of Skingrad. Its shallow, murky waters and ancient deep green trees add to the mystery of the primeval swamp. The large basin that houses the Everglade overlooks an ancient Ayleid ruin, and further beyond, a deep gorge carved by the mighty Ferid river. The Fallenleaf Everglade is the headwater for the Ferid, and home to an abundance of flora and fauna. It is a miniature ecosystem in its own.

  7. Unique Landscapes: Entius Gorge

Entius Gorge is a deep gorge located inside the Nibenay Basin Region, near the source of the Silverfish River. It features mist and firefly ambience effects and a new creature, the Degenerated Slaughterfish. A recent poll of adventurers conducted by Cyrodiil Travellers' Guild notes that Entius Gorge is among the most beautiful regions across the land. Don't forget to be careful if you want to take a dip; the combination of the currents and the shape of the riverbed has been known to trick unwary swimmers. Plus the slaughterfish, mind you. But don't get scared away by my warnings. First-time visitors are bound to be blown away by the "gorge"ous scenery. In fact, the CTG makes regular trips here with new members to showcase the beauty of it. This is a wonderful environment, but watch out when petting the fish...they just might take a piece out of you!

  8. Unique Landscapes: Cloudtop Mountains

This mod changes the mountainous area north-west of Chorrol. The lower mountainside is covered by dense and dark conifer wood and lots of rocks, with small paths running through the area. Halfway to the top, plateaus with grass and flowers separate the woody lower half from the rocky upper part of the mod, where more and bigger rocks change the landscape to a cliffy and inhospitable place. Lots of small paths form a labyrinthine network there, and at the top as well as on the plateaus, ruins of old fortifications show that you are near the border to Hammerfell.

  10. Unique Landscapes: Brena River Ravine

Brena River Ravine stretches from BoC:Lost Coast to the headwaters of both forks of the Brena River. At the river's fork, the area is divided by a system of ancient Ayleid dams which serve to create 3 distinct regions in the area.

The north fork of the river stretches back into a thick forest lined with many rocks, trees, and old Ayleid fortifications. One dam here creates a reservoir of deep water. A group of bandits has made the area its home and headquarters of their smuggling operations.

The east fork is marked by a pair of large and ancient Ayleid dams, the purpose of which has been lost to the ages. The twin dams stand as a testament to the engineering skills of the Ayleids. The waters here are very deep and the ravine is lined by massive cliffs. A giant waterfall marks the headwaters of the east fork, rising thousands of feet up the wall to a small lake in the Colovian Highlands.

Below the dams the Brena River's waters are shallow. It lazily winds through the Colovian Highlands on its way to the Abecean Sea. Here, amongst the greenery lie the humble old remains of a once great Ayleid city, interspersed with clusters of rocks and flowers.

DON'T IGNORE THIS: When upgrading from a previous 1.0.x version to version 1.1 or above, a CLEAN SAVE is required in order to resolve leftover issues with the bandits and the dam quest.

  11. Unique Landscapes: Bravil Barrowfields

Bravil Barrowfields improves the area around Bravil and the Larsius River. It creates a wide grassland with small hills, intermingled by small groups of trees and speckled with bushes. Though nature is gorgeous in this region, signs of decay can be seen wherever civilization left its mark: Ruinous buildings and crumbled walls testify to the poverty of County Bravil's inhabitants. In the hinterland, ancient graves can be found which give this mod its name and its atmosphere an enchanted touch.

This mod is based less on spectacular views than on a lot of carefully placed details which can be found everywhere in Bravil Barrowfield's area, so it's worth to explore it thoroughly.

  12. Unique Landscapes: Blackwood Forest

This mod overhauls the southern half of the Blackwood, east and southeast of Leyawiin. It changes the area to a dense wood on moist ground, in consistence to the closeness of the swamps in the north. Small creeks meander between the trees, leading to the south below the canopy of leaves, until they unite to a small stream that flows into the sea.

  13. Unique Landscapes: Beaches of Cyrodiil - Lost Coast

UniqueLandscapes Beaches of Cyrodiil: The Lost Coast is the first in a series of UL mods designed to be a total conversion of the beaches of beloved Cyrodiil. The Lost Coast overhauls the entire area north of Anvil, and divides it into three regions: The Anvil Cliffsides, The Lost Coast, and Oyster Bay. The Anvil Cliffsides are large, stout cliffs that reach from Anvil to Crowhaven. It features a large, tall rock, known as beacon rock, along with a very extensive history of the rock. The Lost Coast is a stretch of long, wide beaches, littered with driftwood and occasional rocks. Even though they are wide open, they portray a sense of solitude and seclusion, hence the name. Oyster bay is an old oyster farming town, long since ruined. Of course, there is a good piece of history to go along with it, but it is featured in the mod as a series of books and journals.

  15. Unique Landscapes: Arrius Creek

Ice cold springs rise in the Mountains and unite to a creek that feed Lake Arrius north of Cheydinhal and continues its way to the southeast. In the eastern part, the landscape is sparse and rocky while the tree density increases when going westwards, repeatedly interrupted by big groups of rocks. Unrestrained by its stony streambed, the water rushes downwards in the steep, sharp gorge it milled out during eons. Roaring waterfalls form an impressive scenery in the otherwise sparse landscape.

At some places, humanoid traces are highly visible: Chopped trees lead to a charburner's camp and bridges offer a safe way to pass the stream. Some resourceful craftsmen learned to utilize the power of the streaming water: In a water driven hammer mill, supplied with ore from the nearby mine, tools get manufactured, and a grinding mill, powered by the water, produces granite plates.

Lake Arrius is a deep and cold mountain sea, whose shore line is mostly formed by overhanging rocks. Its depth takes most of the power of the rushing water masses. From the lake, the water finds its way to the lower regions of inner Cyrodiil in a more calm, but not less impressive way.

  17. Respawning Varla & Welkynd Stones

"Storytellers say that the Ayleids imbued their precious stones with the same magical energy fused into the matrices of every structure they built. It is said that should one of the stones be removed, it is only ever temporary; after a time, its energy disperses, only to reconstitute at its place of imbuement. Varla stones find their way home in about the time of a moon cycle; welkynd stones, however, take only half that. Of course, the residual magics of the stones that make them so valuable to mages remain in the physical embodiment of the stone for years."
It always made me sad to loot varla & welkynd stones from Ayleid ruins, because they seemed so at home there! Hence, this mod was born. I have hand-replaced the stones with activators that respawn on a timer after use, but still look just like the original stones. This way the stones themselves haven't been altered, for the sake of compatibility.
When you first load your game with the mod active, all the stones will be there. When you uninstall the mod, any stones you picked up prior to installing the mod will still be gone.
This mod only works on stones in Oblivion's original Ayleid ruins. Stones outside of ruins (such as on mages guild counters, or in NPC homes) were not altered. Stones added by mods (including official DLC mods) are not affected by this mod. You can tell the difference easily by the icon you get when you put your crosshair over a stone. If it's a fist with a line through it, like levers and buttons have, the stone will respawn. If it's a regular hand, like a book or anything else you can pick up has, then it will not respawn.

  19. Better Letters

    Better Letters

    Current Version 1.3 - 17/12/2015

    What does it do?

This plugin changes every generic letters, notes, recipes, instructions and the such with unique ones. Basically, you'll never see a duplicated letter again.

Now it does pay to read those letters, since some useful information may be hidden in them! It also adds some shop advertisements written by the devs but never placed in-game.

It is recommended to use Reneer's Note Mod along with Better Letters. Reneer's Note Mod adds text to the crumpled pieces of paper.

    Compatiblity

No compatibility problems. The text of the original letters has not been changed.

  20. Rathunas

Rathunas is a lovely, and fairly large, town along the extreme western edge of Cyrodiil, well north of Anvil, northwest of Skingrad, and almost due west of Kvatch. It lies just on the boundary of the large area modified by the Unique Landscapes: Brena River Ravine mod, and in fact that mod is a prerequisite for Rathunas. As you can see from the screenshot, Rathunas has as many homes and businesses as some of the walled cities in the vanilla game, but it is an open-layout town with no walls or gates.

Rathunas is a mining town, founded by adventurers (now retired) who cleaned the bandits out of Infested Mine and returned it to productivity. It's a peaceful and prosperous community, with charming shops and a nearby priory devoted to Kynareth, plus sheep farms, gardens, a carpentry shop, taverns, and an inn.

The quiet of Rathunas is suddenly disturbed one day, and therein lies a quest that will lead the heroic player character to a major, multilevel dungeon on an adventure to restore peace and safety to the town. The story is lore-friendly and detailed, and there are multiple ways to complete many of the quest objectives. To ensure your character is sufficiently powerful, the Rathunas quest line is triggered by the player reaching a certain point in the Oblivion main quest (or by a special NPC dialog option if you are not doing the main quest), but the Rathunas mod does not modify any vanilla quest in any way.

Want to see more? Watch the Teaser Trailer and Cinematic Trailer on YouTube, but know this: There is a lot more to the dungeon than what we will show you in the videos! After all these years, our team wants to give you some brand-new surprises in Cyrodiil, so we're not going to spoil that by giving away the best dungeon features in the trailer videos!

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4tj52qR-rcM

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j2cHMsYihlU

We've worked hard to make the town, and the quest, lore-friendly and immersive. The dungeon is huge, but every single room has a purpose and a back-story, if the player cares to investigate dialog and in-game clues. You can play this as hack-and-slash, because a great deal of the NPC dialogs are optional, but this is really meant for the roleplay enthusiast who wants to think and strategize and interact with NPCs. There is a reason why this dungeon was built, why its denizens are doing what they are doing, and all of this ties into the back-story lore of the vanilla quest that triggers it.

The dungeon contains hundreds of custom resources from modders' libraries, plus over one hundred custom tiles and set-pieces of my own creation. There are scripted traps, portals, gateways, puzzles, enchantments, potions, and animated objects, and some of the dungeon levels are full-custom meshes (that is, they are not tiled at all). You won't survive this dungeon by assuming it is just like the vanilla dungeons you've already explored! When you complete the quest line (yes, it's several interlocking quests), you earn the eternal gratitude of the town and a reward commensurate with the scope of the adventure.

Four years in development, the Rathunas mod features over 100 voice-acted NPCs with a total of more than 3300 total lines of dialog, performed by 35 voice actors.

Rathunas is being cinematically scored by a collaborative team of professional composers (you can hear samples of their work in the video trailers!). The current BETA release has temporary music in the interior spaces of the town, for testing purposes, but as of this release the final music scores are not yet completed. Two levels of the dungeon have a portion of their final music tracks included in this release.

    PREREQUISITES SUMMARY:

(More details are in the README.txt file)
Latest official patched version of Oblivion
    OBSE version 21 or later
    COBL
Unique Landscapes - Brena River Ravine

    Strongly recommended but not required:
    Sound Commands
    Enhanced Music and Controls

Wrye Bash is strongly recommended for installing the beta version. We plan to offer OMOD support later, but it is not available in this early release.

    BETA NOTES:

This BETA release is fully playable. We are seeking player feedback on game balance and difficulty level. If you download, please track this file so you will be notified of updates (especially the music, which will be added as tracks are completed by the composers).

The README.txt file is extensive and detailed. Before you install, please save yourself a lot of grief by taking a few minutes to read it. :-)

This mod has been extensively tested by members of our team, but please do be aware that this is still a BETA release, not production status. It has a number of known bugs and a few incomplete features, and the main purpose of the beta release cycle is to find and fix other bugs.

The two documentation files Rathunas-BUGLIST.txt and Rathunas-ISSUES.txt provide a list (unfortunately, with a few minor spoilers) of known problems. "Bugs" are problems that we expect to fix before production release. "Issues" are things we would like to fix, but in some cases they may be game-engine limitations that we are not sure we can overcome.

We are still fine-tuning the game balance of battles. If you have constructive feedback on the battle difficulty, please comment (avoid spoilers if you can!). Tell us what general type of character you are playing (magic, stealth, or combat), your character's level, and where you have the difficulty slider for the game set. It is particularly useful if you can compare the difficulty of a Rathunas battle to those of other dungeons your character has explored at his or her current level. Just saying "The battle with ___ is too hard/too easy" doesn't help much, because we need a framework for comparison.

If you find a bug that stalls one of the Rathunas quests, don't give up hope! Contact me (Syscrusher) by private message on TES Nexus or TES Alliance. I can provide console workarounds for almost any situation.

  21. Mesh Improvement Project

    Mesh Improvement Project

    Version: 1.4a

    Description:

Oblivion has some really great fantasy designs for it's models and textures and is a beautiful world. The problem is while the artists have spent a lot of time creating the world and all the assets required to fill it, they've ran into problems getting it all done and have taken shortcuts. While this is expected with a game this large, it starts to become a problem when it's noticeable while playing.

This project is a large undertaking with the aim of (slowly) fixing or replacing broken/ugly meshes found throughout the game's world.

  22. Unique Landscapes: Jerall Glacier

High in the Jerall Mountains lies a magnificent monument of nature. A place known only as "The Glacier". In the lush woodlands and on the high peaks surrounding this fortress of ice, lies ancient ruins reminding of days long gone, when the Imperial Legion guarded these mountain passes. This is one of the most beautiful and unique areas in the Jerrall Mountains. But beware! Deep beneath the icy surface of the Glacier, creatures long forgotten still lurk in the depths, and what is going on in the Old Watchtower? Take the road north from Cheydinhal and head into the mountains to find out....

  23. Greenie's Pink Trees

    ==================================
    DESCRIPTION by Greenwarden
    ==================================
My pink tree retex. Will replace all the sugar maple trees (summer version ones, anyway) with pink fluffy goodness. I actually used the leaf texture from the summer version of Oblivion's English oak trees as the base- I've been using it as a maple tree replacer for so long, I had forgotten that. Whoops! I've enclosed an alternate pink retexture of the actual maple leaf texture in case you like a less fluffy pink trees.

  24. Anvil Exterior Retex

This is a conservative retexture for Anvil's exterior architecture. My goal was just to get rid of the dirty white and replace it with something warmer and easier on the eyes. Nothing exciting here.

I didn't replace all textures. Most notably, the trim, doors, and roofs I left alone, as I didn't want to completely lose Anvil's style.

The new plaster/stone textures are the same size as their vanilla counterparts, and the brick textures are only twice the size (the originals were quite small), so the performance impact is trivial.

  25. Push Dead Spell

Push Dead Spell by glowplug (aka krahvaal)
A Lesser Power Touch Spell for pushing dead actors out of view...or just for fun.
Requires a short quest in order to locate it.

    Credits:
Syscrusher for how to do the scripting and suggestions including this standalone mod.
Side's Sails for the trig z angle solution.

This is a spin off from part of a quest in Nagasteim (WIP).
That quest requires stealth but if caught we have to dispatch the observers then throw their bodies off the wharf/boat before the next patrol.

There's probably something like this in one of the spell collection mods but I did not find it.

The spell automatically levels up with Mysticism as per Novice, Apprentice and so on.
If it triggers the Mysticism Leveling dialogue you may not get to see the spell Level up message.
Note: Telekinesis is just there for the menu/hud icon but is inactive.

    Requirements:
OBSE v0021 and whatever it requires (it could work on earlier but that is what I used at the time).

    Known Issues:
Problem - An actor hung mid air and out of reach once.
Solution - I went out of and back into that cell and he dropped to the ground.

    Problem - stops working
Solutions - change spell and back, aim at different part such as head, move or change angle.

    Installation:
    Manual:
    1. Extract kvPushDeadMod1.bsa and kvPushDeadMod1.esp to the ..\Oblivion\Data folder.
    2. Start Oblivion then select Data Files from the splash screen then tick kvPushDeadMod1.esp

Automatic: whatever you normally install 7Zip mods with.

Load order should not matter for most things as it makes no changes to Oblivion.esm objects.
If you have Oblivion Character Overhaul it will need to load after this for the quest bandits to look right.

    Instructions:
Load your desired/latest save then the mod will add a Scroll called "Push Dead Quest".
Select and cast it then go find the "Tomb: Push Dead".

Note: The first spell used on Glarthir, Grim Presence, is not part of the Push Dead mod...
