Ok I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or if I have come across a bug:

It's just on a random roll, so you have to wait and keep asking around. The Blades youth (like Rowan) usually give it up right away. Tam the cafe owner usually does too. You can wait in game or reload a save if that's faster for you. :good:

Well journal entries are vastly subjective, seriously. I think there's plenty, you don't, some will agree with you, some with me. Some may fall into the third camp of thinking there's too many as it is. There's no way for me to know all the places where you personally are going to want a journal update. In this case, I don't think it's warranted, but I'll add it just to check it off. :ok:

Ive been thinking about the journal entries concerns posted here. I think some of the concerns might be addressed by in-game-items that 'update' the heroine of cyrodiil on current events. Approach the mod as someone who has never seen it before, hasn't helped design it, and hasn't beta-played it. There's a large number of new locations, etc., many right in cyrodiil. Example, the new residents of the mansion just north of Skingrad. IF I have not asked for help on the web (here - this thread) I might not have stumbled on the residents of that mansion, and discovered how to rescue the kids from the sunken city. I'm not fond of 'scour the countryside' type quests. I loved the intellectual quests in Integration: stranded light. Almost aimlessly wandering over a territory hoping to 'find' something ... or searching the same old IC for an office (engineering) that supposedly has been there for years. Why not as a document (newspaper maybe?) or a Blade's Intelligence Bulletin, that informs new players about some of these basic things - (and thereby remove some busy work): Example: 'New engineer posted to IC engineering office in (sector). <name> proprietor of store <name> next door stated " new engineer? very quiet, a loner type.' Skingrad bureau operatives reported:: 'childless couple inherits ...name of mansion... just north of Skingrad. Seem friendly, Strange, they have installed dormitories with many child size beds but wife cannot bear children.' The idea here is to update the new player to locations that would have been know were they in cyrodiil all along, and eliminate some of the tension just wandering around not having any defined focus. And providing a document the player can go back and refer to when needing to fit new things (like meeting the orphans) into the larger mod. Just a suggestion, trying to help....

Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere in this thread, I read through it 4 days ago when I initially wrote this (and emailed it to support@reclaimsancretor.com). Haven't received a reply 4 days later, figured it couldn't hurt to try posting in this thread as it seems to be fairly active.

Hi moarx, sorry you haven't received an answer but DarkRider is very very busy. :)

Looking over your load order the only one to comment on is to make sure you have the recently updated Map Marker Overhaul which fixes a marker at Sancre Tor specifically for RST.

The MMM and OOO overhauls may add additional spawns to areas that weren't anticipated, otherwise there should be no game breaking issues.

This is not entirely accurate. Vorians has kindly made a patch but thievery's author appears to be gone from the community and I'm held up on getting permissions to patch it publicly. :)

That is unfortunate. I'll see if I can find out anything. I'm glad Vorians made the patch. I'll go through my old notes and see if I can find anything on the author.

Question about side quest related to pages from sketch book.

I have all the sketches, and I have found the cabin. Nice saddle in back, BTW. But the door icon is inactive. Please tell me what I have missed in advancing the quest? Log doesn't say. IS it just waiting? Passage of time?

Hello everyone and congrats on the release - unfortunately i seem to have found a bug :)

As RST was released i installed it and started completing the MQ so i could get my hands on the RST glory - but when i reached the point in MQ where i have to go to sancre tor to retrieve tiber septims armor i get a bug. If i fast travel to sancre tor i discover a new marker called "Temple of Light" - so, the problem is this: If i fast travel to the sancre tor marker i am teleported to the normal sancre tor - if i fast travel to the "Temple of Light" map marker i am teleported to a city in some other worldspace or? I find it very strange, because when i am in this town and look upon the map, i see myself standing directly on top of ST - even though i am in a city - any help!? :/

I have updated to RC1.0.3, installed UL patches and updated MMO - no luck :(

Update: If i exit the RST town through the city gates i come back to tamriel, but theres no gate

This hard conflict is listed in the read me. When I was testing I had to take Thievery out because of those conflicts. DR simply did not have time to anything about this one. If you know anyone who wants to fix this and has that mod author's permission, have them contact DR about what to do.

Hmm, I really did not want to be the first one here with a question. But I am stuck right after the beginning of the mod.

When Steffan tells me to follow and to escort the holy men to Sancre Tor the journey ends already after some meters here:

The horse goes to and fro but not forward. I talked to Steffan, I loaded several times from the beginning of the escort at the CRT gate but I am stuck...

Hey this mod/quest/expansion sounds really good, looks like a lot of work went into it, but, I have this bug. Steffan won't go anywhere. I have the latest version of RST (that I know of, 1_0_3), and I run the latest english UOP. . . any work arounds?

Can you post a load order for us? Might help spot a conflict. Any mod that alters that road between Cloud Ruler and Sancre Tor can potentially interrupt the escort. :book:

This is one of the stranger bugs that approaching Sancre Tor from the Tamriel side would enable a marker in SancreTorWorld. :blink: I'm actually surprised this wasn't previously discovered, excellent bug catching :clap: This should be fixed in version 1.0.4. In the meantime, not using the map marker, and not interacting with that world should leave your game in tact for when you reach the RST MQ.

It didn't happen to me when I actually played through the main quest instead of using msqdone. The only map marker I got was for Sancre Tor while I was playing through. I did not get that rune stone marker because I did not get close enough to it at that time. That map marker disappeared somewhere along the line and then the other two markers for Shrine at Sancre Tor and Temple of Light appeared as I went through the RST quest line. If there had been two markers in my game I would have reported it.

When I visited the new Castle West Weald II by Trollf I found a severe conflict with RST:

When CWW is loaded after RST, the hens yard is buried under a huge boulder:

Thank DR for that. All I did was test the mod. And I had to have help on that one. He is an evil genius. :evil:

Went back and read all the notes. I only have four now. Did have five. What to do?

Quest says i have five. But the quest log only updated upon acquiring four of the five. I do remember that upon acquiring one of the 'note-sketch-pages,' no quest update happened. I have searched all the places I / store items (mainly shadowcrest manor). Not found it. Could the quest script to update the quest be snarled because one update did not happen? Or because I can;t find one of them? IF I go back to the old locations will they be there again? (So I can grab mis-placed one?) Or am I lost as long as one of the five is misplaced? IS there a code I can enter to get the quest to update and unlock the cabin? I promise I would tell anyone.
