I ran into an odd bug during the Fire Warrior quest:

I talked to literally everyone in Sancre Tor and nobody had a topic on Fire Warrior. When I spoke with Samael Washington, he said he was trying to get hammered and ordered me to go away. I thought about hitting him with a warhammer (hey, he wanted to be 'hammered', right?

:lmao:), but I ended up using the SetStage command to get my assignment from him instead.

Not really a bug. Samael wouldn't talk to you because you had not been given his name yet. The light Blades all know the answers even if they claim they don't the first time, their answers are random. Mei Satomo is notorious for this, I just stand there and ask her until she comes up with the answer. LOL (When she is on duty a the inner doors to the entrance of the Temple of Light.)

Edit: Can't type, can't spell, still suffering from my brain cells not talking to one another. LOL

I use a key ring mod and I have no problem getting through this. Elena I did misstate which key was found back in the area. It has been just long enough since I ran through that that I had forgotten part of it.

It is the iron key that you find back in the first area and the silver key after you go into the area that is opened by the iron key.

I apologize for any confusion this added.

OK than I am really stuck. I cannot get past portcullis without silver key. i cannot get to key under ice in 'two bodies under ice' chamber, nor past portcullis in this chamber. Where is the dang nab silver key? I've found three places with keys or icicles in maze area. (Also talked to professor....) Also found a key inside chest by bear at iron key door. been running around so much I am quite sick of these two areas...

You need to go through the portcullis that the stone key unlocks. It is in one of the rooms behind an ice door, which is opened by one of those shards.

aarrggg (smile) I cant get thru either porticilus...... Ok.... one more mad rush to the two portocillus to 'try' again..... if one of them doesnt open (activate) then I will be beyond paitence on this... 10 + hours, in the game, and getting data ..... i need to get away from it. maybe ver 1.0.9 esp will work... lol. Sorry just very frustrated at not getting anywhere for so long. I'm almost tempted to toggle off collision and just grab the key under the ice.

A few small issues/bugs/things/stuff in 1.0.3. I'm about halfway through the bit with the Earth Warrior, for reference.

- When you're escorting the monks to Sancre Tor, could really use the option to give healing potions or something to Steffan and co. He almost died, and there was very little I could do about it.

- Steffan's pathfinding was a bit whack. I'm not sure if this was because of UL: Stendarr Valley or what, but there were a couple points where he wasn't so much off the road (to be expected in Oblivion) as much as he was clear over there trying to climb the side of a hill for no reason.

- There's a lot of missing mid-quest greets and such. If I talk to Steffan mid-escort, I should probably get something like "We need to make haste to Sancre Tor!" instead of "You know, I saw your fight against the Grey Prince..." I've tried to keep track of specific examples, but quickly gave up. There's a lot more than just this one example.

- So far as I can tell, all of the shops are selling their clutter. Pewter plates, planters, and things. This is an ownership problem, and you need to set their clutter to be owned not by them personally. Factions should work. Yes, high mercantile characters are awesome.

- In the hallway leading to the training room, one of the rug pieces is floating. I'm pretty sure it's either xx00d153 or xx00d15e, but it's hard to be certain in-game.

- What's with all of the dialogue for the Akavirian topic going straight to exiting the conversation? It's really pointless and pretty annoying if I had other stuff to ask somebody.

- You really, really need journal entries on the various Water/Earth/etc Warrior topics at the stages where the random villager tells you to go talk to whatshername at the healer's house or what have you. I'm sick right now, so I forgot both pieces of info within about 5 seconds of having the conversation. On a normal day that would take me about 15 seconds (shoddy memory what?). This is key journal entry stuff.

I have a couple of more substantial critiques, but I'll raise those not here or now.

Would it help to know that the key hole is on the wall next to the portcullis? DR posted a pick of what that lock looks like in his spoilered solution for you.

OK, i knew that - how else would i know to look for a silver key? ... turns out problem is not silver key... i found it

(on other side) of porticillus in room with two frozen men under the ice. also found several others like a mithril key. problem was, and is, and remains, I was not able to get past the silver key portcullis, ** nor ** the portcullis in the two men under the ice room. I finally, after this 10 hours of frustration, turned off collision and went thru the latter portcullis. Then went mapping this set of tunnels, etc., and found several keys and crystals, and found the silver key. The silver key let me thru the silver key porticilus... and on to the boss bear. Have the ball... what a strange fight... cool...

All done. In my TES4 build, there is something wrong with the activator on the portcullis in the room with the two frozen men under ice... Sorry I can't be more helpful....

small bug in the tree thingie after going through the dragon portal,the monks climb on their pedastals then i have to go on mine but for some reason it stops me from moving,and nothing else happens,its kind of like the beggining of a talking cutscene where you cant move but only listen except nothing happens here,sorry if any of this is a spoiler i dont know how to do spoiler thingies on here lol

Dropped in to say started this mod this morning and have been playing on and off all day and just got to the point I've been dispatched to the Oracle and have not had any serious glitches.

From playing v1.0.0 I was so cautious on the very first quest (from CRT to ST) expecting a glitch, I freaked myself out when I realized I did that whole trip without saving.

Had an issue early on in IC. Bruin would not initiate conversation at the bar - found the post here on the console command and did it - quest ran smoothly after that other than a mod conflict that made looking for one certain item in the IC a bit hard.

I did run into a bit of a problem after being arrested and didn't get the letter so I had no idea where the cabin was. Again, found the post here and redid the quest, but had to wait a while (more than a minute - less than 2) outside to get the letter. No problems after that.

Other than these two little blips, only noted a few minor (very minor) things (floating/misaligned items).

This has been a pretty darn good mod so far - and sorry, can't stop any longer - gotta get back to it.

Did you click on the keyhole? or just the portcullis?

Found a text issue in one of the quests:

RST version: 1.0.3

Quest: Spies Like Us - The Horse Seller

Issue: After collecting all of the items on the horse seller's list, I received a quest update saying I should return to the Floating Flask. That particular establishment is actually called the Foaming Flask in game.

Slight AI oddity. Not sure how it happened or if it'll repeat later, but...

After clearing the Mythic Dawn out of the sewer and returning to Sancre Tor, I went back to the IC to do Parlow's tavern quest. Bruin is supposed to have gone off to do his own thing at this point. Yet, when I returned to the sewer to go talk to Parlow, Bruin showed up there. He promptly started walking all the way through the area (I stopped to finish the quest), clear out through the assassination site, and all the way out the NE sewer exit.

At which point he set sites for Sancre Tor again. Bizarre, and not sure if it's even something you can fix. The AI pack shouldn't have sent him in there to begin with.

Yep. Bruin has been a real problem child for DR all the way along here. He just does not want to co-operate with his AI package.

im at the point when i can choose an apprentice,i chose rowan,i found him in my quarters and he only has "I HAVE NO GREETING" is this part of the mod finished or have i missed something? my quest log has updated and everything

it's a bug. DR is working on it.

Hey there, I know this seems like a really silly question but how does the quest trigger? I have a character who has completed the Oblivion main quest and no one has approached her yet.

Wait until you receive the Imperial Dragon armor and then start walking to Cloud Ruler Temple. The quest should begin long before you get there.

Icecold, I am totally stuck in the Fallen Hero's

Crypt. (In Sacre Tor, with key from grand master, after getting 'four' stones, yada yada.) Tomb has some brazier lights, the tombs of four fallen septums (4 stones put here?) no. And main tomb at deepest part of room, with 4 panels on walls, two on each side. Each panel shows something different - very vague, probably correspond to fore elemental stones... fire is easy - red swath. green = earth? swirly blue blur is air? What to do, no activators? Dakrrider likes delays in scripts... should I just wait around in crypt of fallen heroes? If a wait is necessary, how about a hint, like a 'meditation mat' being placed in the tomb? Anyway, I can find no activators, nor anyplace to put the stones ti open the dragon gate Oracle says is there. What do I do?

Thanks for considering pointing me in right direction.
