Welcome to the Lurker's Lair! This thread was inspired by the one of the same name on Bethesda Game Studios' Forums.

TES Alliance's Lurker's Lair plays with the same set of rules as Bethesda's, found here.

Here's a quick reminder of them :

In the last thread we learned that :

• Yevic is a girl knocker-over
• Jello is really a gecko and likes to listen to Viva La Vida
• No can agree which race is best and Manni likes them all except Orcs.
• Manni tried to snake this thread from Red and failed.
• Our Desktops are awesome
• One of us does not have an Oblivion icon
  
• IS is stuck inside an egg for two weeks, damn WhoGuru made on hell of a mess in here!
  
• WhoGuru has a nice house, though she does have a unique cat sink I have never seen before
  
• We are all awaiting snow, but we know it'll never come

I get coffee at work. I also downloaded a $2 old school RPG from Impulsedriven.com, called Aveyond. Not sure why... can't pass up $2 on a potentially good game I guess. After modding a game like Oblivion, can you imagine how easy it would be for some of us to create a classic 2d RPG game like the old Final Fantasy's or Chrono Trigger? If you had a good story we could have it whipped up within a few months most likely.

Very little snow here, but EXTREMELY cold. (for michigan, yeah, I know we are pikers compared to some.)

I REALLY need to move to a warmer climate. I hate winter. Funny that I have lived in Michigan just about all of my life......

I figured I'd upload stuff I was making painting meshes out of. No doubt I've got enough to start a resource collection out of them by now

A bow which had been sitting in my room since August got a string & 5 arrows to accompany it two weeks ago. We brought it back from the shop today. Who knows when I'll be able to use it, we've yet to find an accessible archery range.

I've got a gecko, and a bow. Hunter Jello?

Oh and it's a real bow and not one of those compound suckers. Sorry Will. I know how you love those. Nice bow Jello!

Indeed, it's a real recurve bow.

LOL I never could get comfortable using a compound bow. Just never felt right. I much prefer longbows.

Compounds do indeed feel weird. I intend to learn how to use a recurve-bow with no scopes as well.

Odd, ive used both and prefered the compound, not that it helped me much, I sitll missed, the only difference was how deep it went in the wood or dirt lol.

Jheuloh, if you can get a couple bales of hay it will be enough backstop for that bow.

Your probably thinking recurve bow. A longbow is just the typical D shaped looking bow, where as a recurve has the tips flayer out.

In all seriousness, I don't have anything to add. I try and keep a group of us alive on another site and some just drop off the radar. Unless you have an e-mail or phone number its impossible to find out whats up. Heck, how do you think I made sure Who was actually alive still when DR distracted her with RST
