Eh, I'm not in love with exterior landscaping :D

I could barely get a good view of my platform through all the trees and leaves, until I figured out to turn off trees in View (yes, a head slapping moment). Then I couldn't figure out why I couldn't see the shrubs I was placing! (duh, turn trees back on). Maybe a suggested Smarty tip?

Anyhow, I managed, and here's the results.

Shadowmere loves his new home

A cozy place to enjoy the view

Barrels, clutter, exterior lamps

Bridge, path wall, assorted shrubbery

Porch fence

Underwater landscaping

Some Light on the Deck:

Nice place for the horse:

Yep its a Stall, lol, had to scale it down to 0.6500 I tossed a horse and a Imperial Guard in the doorway to make sure they would actually fit, and they did fairly well.

Two open barrels, a table, a cabinet, and 2 barrel containers, 1 wash/feed bucket. And a hanging light in the middle.

Landscaping:

I don't have steady hands so it pretty hard for me to make small adjustments that was required. I spent nearly 2 hours on in this area.

Overview of house, bridge, rail/rope on deck, etc:

Rock Bench/Seat:

I can change this if a rock doesn't count, lol

Now for a little Nit-Picking about this lesson, actually only one.

I almost took the liberty to move this to another location, would have still been in general area, due to the Oblivion gate that is a few hundred feet away. Gates are bad. LOL, but its all good though :read:

Off to bed now

Looks good Ds, well done! Your landscaping is a little rough you may want to spend a bit more time practicing this aspect of the lesson as some moderate landscaping will be required for most building mods you make in the future. See if you can make your lanscape base a little more natural looking!

As for the location, well we have to remember the good people of Cyrodiil built their homes without knowing there would ever be Oblivion gates. While it's usually bad to muck with the gates themselves you shouldn't be too afraid of close proximity when you build

thank you. I will try a little more on the landscaping and see what I can produce.

:read: I know, but the red skies scare me to death. When I first played Ob, I ran next to one and got scared. It took me weeks before I actually went inside one :shrug:XD
